GBUG is pushing for the conversion of the current footbridge over the Wey canal at Woodbridge Meadows such that it can be used by cyclists. This would connect the Wey cycle path to Woodbridge Road and allow cyclists to avoid the dangerous A25/Woodbridge Road junction. The council (GBC) has yet to incorporate a new bridge into its plans.
