Latest M25/A3 Junction Cycle Track proposals

Highways England have sent the latest plans for the upgraded M25/A3 Wisley Interchange. Of particular interest, the plans show the proposed route for the cycle track (more precisely, the track for ‘Non-Motorised Users’, NMU) beside the A3 from the Cobham/Painshill junction across a new dedicated bridge over the M25 to the Ockham Park junction. Less positively, planning of linking routes for NMU from West Byfleet. Cobham, Ripley, and along Seven Hills Road has been put “….. on hold until the next programme of funding is available for Designated Funds in 2020.”

There used to be a footbridge over the A3 from RHS Wisley across to the old airfield and Ockham Common/Chateley Heath. This was removed some months ago. How do pedestrians and cyclists cross the A3 at this point?
