The Christmas Pie leisure trail is an 8.5 mile (14km) route that starts in Park Barn in Guildford at Applegarth Avenue and runs all the way to Farnham via Ash Green and Tongham. It can be muddy in wet weather. Follow the signs with Christmas puddings on them, although note a couple are missing!

The first section runs from Applegarth Avenue as far as Flexford and is traffic free running mainly through the forest, which makes it perfect for cycling with young children.

The crossing of the A331 on-ramp to the A31 near Tongham needs care: we are hopeful the Council will install a traffic light-protected crossing. The Council have a leaflet on the Christmas Pie trail.

NCN22 and the Christmas Pie Trail can be combined to make an enjoyable circuit of the Hog’s Back, more details on Nigel B’s blog.
